2025.06.05 Boulder Dad

A man armed with a makeshift flamethrower and Molotov cocktails launched a fiery attack on elderly demonstrators who were calling for the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza. This happened in Boulder, Colorado, where fifteen people were injured and the FBI described the violence as a “targeted terror attack.”

The suspect, identified by the FBI as 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman, yelled “Free Palestine” during the attack Sunday (6.1.25). Upon arrest, he told investigators “he wanted to kill all Zionist people and wished they were all dead,” that he specifically targeted, researched, and planned the attack for more than a year. He even told law enforcement that he would do it again if he had the chance.

Soliman, an Egyptian national, entered the country in August 2022 with a non-immigration visa that expired in February 2023. He filed for asylum in September 2022 and was granted a work authorization in March 2023, which had also expired. He had a failed asylum claim in 2005.

I wonder what happened between 2005 and 2022? In the former case, he was denied entry, and in the latter, he was allowed entry. And how did he get a work permit after his visa expired? Maybe Biden??

Anyway, Soliman was living in the U.S. illegally. He was a visa overstayer just like four of the 19 hijackers involved in the September 11th attacks. This means they were in the United States after their authorized period of stay had expired. But, why? How could this be?

Note, about 11 million visas were granted in 2023, a 34 percent increase over 2019. There are many different kinds (immigrant, work, study, tourist, etc.), but most have an expiration date and require the holder to leave the country upon expiration. But, are we enforcing this requirement?

We are all aware of the open border under Biden, where about 12 million (10 to 20 million, depending on who you listen to) undocumented aliens were allowed to enter the country. Some of us are aware of the parole program, which Biden abused, according to which about 500,000 undocumented aliens from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela were flown in on charter flights to destinations all over the country.

Now, I feel extremely naive because until the Boulder event, it never occurred to me that Biden and his crew could have similarly abused the visa program.

It makes me wonder how many Solimans might be in the county and what their intentions might be.

Thank you, Joe, for creating an invasion of undesirables the likes of which the world has never seen. What a wonderful legacy you have left; you will be remembered for this for many years as the rest of us try to deal with the travesty.

    And That’s that!
